Hey there! I’m Chris Herrmann, an art director based in sunny California.

As a multidisciplinary designer with a background in graphic design you’ll find a mix of web, app, UI/UX work in my portfolio. I’m humbled to have over a decade of experience crafting simple yet beautiful solutions in a variety of mediums. Clean, modern aesthetics and bold typographic hierarchies are super inspiring.

Most recently, I led the design efforts of Kohl’s enterprise design system for 400+ designers and developers, streamlining workflows with a Figma-based UI library, accessibility guidelines, and cross-functional training.

Outside of work, I love exploring the outdoors with a camera; a favorite pastime of mine. I also teach art at my kids elementary school where we do a lot of fun 3D printing projects as well. Little sparks of creative joy.

All-in-all, I’m a versatile problem-solver with a diverse range of skills and perspectives looking for a collaborative team where we can create something truly awesome together.
